EchoSign Web: eCollaboration

Because, sometimes, you need more than just a signature. Collaboration, signer edits, tracked changes, and more.

By default, contracts sent through EchoSign are immutable, i.e. the signer cannot change them in any fashion, other than inputting data into optional form fields. For many contracts, this is exactly what our customers want — contracts that are easy to sign and close, without unnecessary back-and-forth.

But what about when you want your signers or customers to propose any necessary changes to your contracts? Sometimes the fastest way to close a deal is to encourage input. Simply enable Collaboration in EchoSign, and now your contract comes alive, with real-time signer editing on the web in Google Docs, off-line editing in Word, tracked changes, and much more.

  • Allow Signers to Optionally Edit Your Contracts Right on the Web: With EchoSign eCollaborate, you can allow your signers to optionally make changes and edit your contracts right on the web, without leaving EchoSign. Then proposed changes will come right back to you to review, accept — or reject.
  • Word Formatted Tracked Changes: Your signer edits come emailed back to you both as Word formatted documents for tracked changes (which you can then forward on to legal or any other department) — and can also be reviewed on-line as well on EchoSign.
  • Revise On-Line or Off-Line: You can review your signer’s edits however you want — either by accepting or rejecting changes in Word, and uploading a revised final version — or by editing and accepting changes right online.
  • Great for Legal and Other Stakeholders: Now, if internal stakeholders or other third parties such as legal or finance want to review changes, you can simply forward them the Word tracked changes generated by EchoSign. They don’t need to use EchoSign or learn any new system. They can forward you back a final copy in Word, which you can then upload right back into EchoSign.
  • No Extra Charges — It’s Included! The EchoSign Collaborate module is included in all EchoSign Team, Enterprise and Global accounts at no additional cost. Simply go to your Account tab to turn on the feature.
